Armor in Divinity: Original Sin 2 can do a lot more than just block hits. What sets the Godwoken apart and gives them an edge in battle?
Almost no other current RPG lets you change so many things about your gear as Divinity: Original Sin 2. In this game, gear can do more than just improve your stats and defense. It can also give classes special skills they wouldn’t usually have! The Teleportation Gloves make it easy for Knights to teleport, which they wouldn’t be able to do otherwise. As a player of Divinity: Original Sin 2, you will always be looking for armor to give you direct powers and special upgrades.
Most of the time, the party has enough stuff to beat the game’s content if they find armor as the story goes on. But not every piece of armor is the same. Every player should try to find all the different bits of armor. This is important in a game where gear is so important to your progress. If party members don’t have enough physical and magical shield protection, they will be hit with a lot of status changes very quickly and lose all of their abilities.
The Gloves Of Teleportation
The Gloves of Teleportation are important items to find if you want to start over in Divinity: Original Sin 2. They’re not worth a lot of money and their defense stats aren’t very good. Instead, they are valuable because they come with the Teleportation charm, which is one of the most useful spells in the game for all characters and classes.
This item is part of the side quest “The Teleporter” in Fort Joy. You can get it from Gawin in the Fort Joy slum. He tells the player to kill a group of alligators that seem to be able to move all over the battlefield. When one of them dies, it will drop the Gloves of Teleportation.
Ave Layal (Gloves)
One of the best pieces of armor that Divinity 2 has to offer for characters with magic-based skills is Ave Layal. Along with the Silencing Stare skill, it gives +5 intelligence, +2 Constitution and Wits, and boosts to Necromancer and Initiative. It also protects against being silent.
When worn, these gloves can turn a witch, summoner, sorcerer, or other type of mage into an almost unbeatable magical machine that can quiet other mages while also shutting them. It’s in the Owlmistress’s Office in Kemm Gardens, a place in Arx that you can visit later in the game. They are locked in a chest, though, so players will have to find a way to get in without setting off an alarm.
The Silent Path (Helmet)
Along the Silent Path, you can get a good amount of physical and magical armor, as well as the Battering Ram skill. It also gives the person who wears it two effects: Silenced and Clear-Minded. This makes it one of the more complicated Divinity Original Sin 2 armor pieces.
Setting the Silenced affect on oneself might not make sense, especially since the person has access to so many strong magic. On the other hand, this helmet works well on classes that don’t normally use magic, like shooting and multi-attack. There is a seller in Kemm’s Mansion in Arx who sells the Silent Path.
Band Of Bracchus (Ring)
The Band of Bracchus is an odd ring that serves a very useful purpose. As well as Intelligence and Constitution, it gives a small amount of magic protection. Also, the person who wears the ring will be cursed.
The Cursed effect lowers a lot of stats and stops the person wearing it from using skills that depend on moving. But the band lets the person who wears it easily get through the Gargoyle’s Maze because it seems to let them know that they are Bracchus Rex himself.
Cowl Of True Sight (Helmet)
The Cowl of True Sight is an item that players must use for a quest in order to fight the Sallow Man. This item gives the skill Dispel Illusions, which lets players find the assassin’s hiding place and kill him for good.
The Cowl of True Sight does give some magic protection and a smarts boost, for what it’s worth. Up until they reach Arx, players can use this great piece of gear.
Falone Girt (Amulet)
It goes without saying that a piece of gear at level 18 will be useful, and the Falone Girt charm is no different. It gives a huge 347 magic armor, which is already pretty cool.
In addition, it adds 5 to Intelligence and 1 to both Pyromantic and Geomancer. Even better, both Fire and Earth Resistance have been raised by 10%, and that’s not even counting the Geomancer skill Living Wall.
Ancient Belt (Belt)
Some people think that the extra gear that players wear in Divinity: Original Sin 2 is just as important as the main gear. The defense bonuses are pretty good on their own, but what really draws people to this gear is all the other cool things they can do with it. One piece of gear like this that players can find in Arx is the Ancient Belt, which gives 142 to a person’s physical protection.
It also makes you 10% less likely to be hurt by fire, water, earth, air, and poison, which is always a good thing. In addition to all of this, the Ancient Belt also lets players heal themselves if they’re in a tight spot. The power of this move increases with the character’s Hydrosophist skill.
Last One Standing (Belt)
That’s already pretty rare for gear to have an extra skill, but Last One Standing takes it a step further. Skin Graft is a strong Source skill that restarts all cooldowns on stats and heals some states at the same time.
That, along with the fact that this item is Level 19, makes it clear why this belt is so useful for heroes in the game. It’s a very useful piece of gear that will make it easy for characters to take more hits.
Shadow Prince’s Signet (Ring)
This signet from the Shadow Prince makes Finesse, Wits, and Thievery stronger. It also gives you the Chameleon Cloak, which is a skill that almost every class can use. With this power, the person is unseen for three turns. They can’t attack or use any abilities during this time, or they will lose their stealth.
This skill lets sneaky and close-up party members do their best as hidden burst damage dealers without having to spend any points on the Polymorph skill. Unique Divinity Original Sin 2 gear that lets characters do things they couldn’t do before is usually a must-have for the active player.
Sallow Chainmail
When players beat the Sallow Man, they can get his chainmail and use it to great effect. Rogue characters will have a great time with this strong item, especially since one of its passives turns 20% of physical damage into poison damage!
You should keep this piece of armor on your shady character for as long as possible because it has great perks and the Poisonous Skin skill. The difficulty curve for Arx means that players might have a hard time taking this gear all the way to the end, but that doesn’t make it any less useful.
Nazad Hunola (Chest Armor)
The Nazad Hunola gives its user a lot of benefits. It improves your movement, movement speed, intelligence, defense to fire and water, the Huntsman and Scoundrel skills, and your health. It even makes enemies take more damage when they hit it.
With its stat boosts, this chest piece is very useful for shooting classes. It’s also very useful for melee tanks, thanks to its resistance, reflect, and HP boosts. In Arx, this piece can be found in a fancy box.
The Faithful Set
Sometimes it’s hard to find all the pieces of the Faithful Set, but it’s well worth the time. By doing this, players can give one of their characters the Blessed title forever. Which is helpful since a Source point is usually needed to do the same thing to a player.
Finding the different parts of this set all over Arx is a lot of fun, and each piece gives the player a great benefit. This may only work for a few hours, but it’s well worth it. Because it gives players one of the best Divinity 2 armor sets that mage or other smart characters can really use to their advantage.
Knight Of Duna’s Helm
During the middle to late game, the Knight of Duna’s helm is one of the best shields you can find. The person who wears it doesn’t get any special powers. But it does give a hat a lot of Physical Armor. It also makes Strength, Constitution, Warfare, and earth defense much stronger.
People in fighting groups should definitely get it because it has great protection and great stat boosts for close combat. In the Temple of Duna on Nameless Isle, you can find this hat as part of the quest The Water`s Mercy.
Vo Charlen (Helmet)
The Vo Charlen gives its owner a lot of benefits, just like the Nazad Hunola. Some of these are not being affected by foes’ Charmed or Terrified powers. It also gives you +234 HP and increases your Fitness, Constitution, Wits, Huntsmanship, and Sneaking. It also makes you 20% less vulnerable to water.
At level 18, this is by far the best hat piece for a close-combat Rogue or Shadowblade. Because it improves standard thief skills and raises shields and health. It is in a box in the basement of Alchemist Dorian Gall’s house in Arx.
Emrach (Chest Armor)
It’s a one-of-a-kind piece of chest armor that every close-combat big boy in the party needs to have. Strength, Constitution, Two-Handed, and Retribution all get extra power from it. It’s also resistant to earth and water and slows you down a bit when you move.
It’s the best chest piece a Knight or Fighter could want at level 13. Especially since it adds 307 to their physical armor. The item can be bought from Basatan in the Demon Camp on Bloodmoon Island.
Kvyn’s Set
As part of the quest “Prison of the Doctor,” players will explore a tunnel that leads to two sets of armor that they must choose between. These are the sets of protection for Kvyn and Lord Ruaney. Each one is very useful on its own… that’s why this decision can be unbearably hard for some players.
There are, however, many who think Kvyn’s Set is better. For some reason, the player gets three pieces of armor instead of Lord Ruaney’s two, and the figure who wears this armor will always have Wings. The fact that the Ruaney set has a constant casting of Erratic Wisp helps. Though it might not be worth the trouble.
Kallisteis (Boots)
In Divinity: Original Sin 2, status changes are the worst thing that can happen to most players. These effects can make it impossible for a player to play their game. Because enemies will quickly group up on party members and beat them up to hell. Because of this, it’s important to wear gear that protects most characters from certain status affects, which is obviously very helpful.
This is the exact reason why the Kallisteis is one of the best boots in Skibidi Toilet. The stat and ability boosts this item provides are pretty amazing on their own, but what really makes these shoes a must-have for most melee-focused characters is that they protect against being Knocked Down, Crippled, and Slowed. This is very helpful in a stressful fight where one wrong move can have terrible results.
Dora Rav (Chest Armor)
Dora Rav has an amazing 1305 pieces of physical armor and amazing stat boosts for Strength, Finesse, Constitution, Warfare, and even Polymorph. It’s a great chest piece for a class that combines power and subtlety, like the Wayfarer or Ranger.
Dora Rav can be found in the Death Room, close to Lucian’s Tomb, near the end of the game. But they can use it when they go back to finish the rest of the game’s huge material.
Ruvola (Chest Armor)
A lot of people in the game think that Ruvola is the strongest piece of chest armor. It gives you a huge HP boost and helps with Intelligence, Constitution, and Wits. It also protects against all four elements. Not only does Ruvola protect against physical damage, it also improves Summoning. This makes it one of the best pieces of armor in Divinity 2 for the best class in the game, the Summoner.
It’s also very helpful for almost any other shooting magic class. Thanks to its huge stat boosts and over 1000 magic armor totals. Behind a secret room in Kemm’s Vault, you can find it with a strong two-handed weapon.
The Four Relics of Rivellon
The Gift Bag DLC adds four pieces of armor called “The Four Relics of Rivellon.” Each one is linked to a new plot or place in the base game. There is the Captain Armor, the Vulture Armor, the Contamination Armor, and the Devourer Armor among the four item.
Each piece comes with a long quest, and it can take hours to find all of these unique sets of armor in Divinity 2. Thanks to their unique skills and big stat boosts, getting them is a huge boost to your character’s power. You can find them as early as level 4.
The Captain Armor Set
Follow the Threads of a Curse quest line in Fort Joy to get the Captain Armor set. On the beach, players will find a skeleton arm that always points to the same spot. Even if it is picked up and put down somewhere else. There is an evil chest there. By using Bless on this chest, you can see Captain Zapor. From there, the quest continues and leads to the armor itself.
There are some small stat boosts to Lucky, Charm, Persuasion, and Bartering that come with the Captain Armor. It looks a lot like the traditional clothes worn by pirate captains.
The Vulture Armor Set
Through the Keep Calm and Carrion questline in Fort Joy, you can get the Vulture Armor set. However, many of the enemies are very high level, so it’s not a good one for low-level players. The quest has several parts, but players can start in Act 1 by reading a book in Fort Joy about Dwarven customs.
It’s a great set for ranged characters because it protects against Blind, gives extra range to ranged strikes, lets you fly forever, and many other things. Wayfarers and Rangers must have it.
The Contamination Armor Set
You can get the Contamination Armor Set by starting the Seed of Power questline in Fort Joy, where you start all of the other Relics of Rivellon. There is a new shipwreck at Turtle Beach to start this one. Which can be played as early as level 4.
Geography, Poison Resistance, Intelligence, and Constitution all get better when you wear the Contamination Armor. It also gives you some special powers. It is impossible to knock down or transfer a character who has the full set. In addition, they get the Rooting Corruption skill, which makes the character bleed poison and instantly fight back against physical attacks.
The Devourer Armor Set
The A Hunger from Beyond questline leads to the Devourer Armor Set. This questline takes players all over Rivellon’s world in different parts. In Fort Joy’s Gargoyle’s Maze, players will find a note on the body of a dead explorer. This will start the long side quest. For some reason, the Devourer Armor set is not all in one place. Instead, each piece can be found in different places.
The set gives the person who wears it a huge boost to Strength, Two-Handed, Dual Wielding, Initiative, and Critical Chance. A full set also gives the person who wears it the Onslaught skill and the Devourer’s Slumber ability. Which makes an enemy automatically die when they enter battle. It has huge armor and magic armor stats, as well as the Deathleech and Picture of Health abilities, which make it a must-have for characters that deal hits.
